Workshop for Pawrents

Even healthy dogs naturally age over time.  Small and medium-sized dogs have still full of energy when they are 6 to 7 years old, but in preparation for the aging, “senior period” that will soon arrive, you will learn your furkids’ changes in their bodies and behaviour, and care that you should be aware of.

Ages 6 to 7 are the “pre-senior period,” preparation period for comfortable senior years.  It is a period in which pawrents can review furkid’s lifestyle habits, and prepare to comfortably enter the senior years, starting from a time when they are healthy and energetic before the onset of old age.

Be sensitive to signs of aging – pre-senior dogs are still young and show no noticeable signs of aging.  However, aging does not suddenly occur when furkids enter their senior years; it begins gradually before that age, and symptoms of various diseases become more likely to appear from around the age of seven.  If you know the signs of aging that will eventually appear, you can be aware of changes.
If pawrents start taking good care of their furkids from the pre-senior period, they can slow down the aging process and extend their healthy lifespan.

You will learn what you can do for your furkid at home, during the walk, before going to bed, or when your furkid spends most of her time in the bed.  3 days workshop at our centre.
